A Few Thoughts About Education and Learning

I am lucky to have grown up in a family that valued education and learning. As a result of that upbringing, I believe we should compensate our educators more highly than our entertainers and athletes. Our teachers provide such a valuable service!

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin — Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, I went on to build a career in Information Technology. Most of my skills were developed on the job. I learned by doing and by associating with talented application developers, network gurus and software wizards. All very intelligent individuals who possessed natural curiosity and never stopped learning. My kind of people!

One of the great benefits offered by today’s internet is online learning. I highly recommend Udemyicon. Udemy is a fantastic online learning platform. They feature an enrollment of 7 million students, 30,000 course offerings and 19,000 instructors! Udemy’s courses are taught by experts with real-world experience.

I enjoy online learning because it allows self-paced learning. Courses don’t cost an arm and a leg and you enjoy the convenience of learning from any place that has an internet connection. Listed below are online courses I’ve recently taken through Udemy.
