Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

So I just finished creating a brand new newsletter and was hoping to email it to you. Sounds simple, right? But wait a second, Chester, I can’t really do that without the risk of being fined heavily! Must be one heck of a controversial newsletter, right? Well, not really. It’s a just simple email with a nice image and a few paragraphs of news that you’ll receive a few times a year.

Here’s my dilemma: Anti-spam laws exist and are there for a good reason. So if you want to receive occasional email updates from me, please use the sign-up forms on this website. I need your permission to send you my newsletter. After you sign up, your email address will be added to my subscriber list and you will receive future updates. As part of the process, you’ll receive an email asking to confirm your email address. After doing so, you will receive a second email acknowledging that you confirmed your subscription. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button within that email.

While that satisfies the Anti-spam Uberlords, you still won’t receive the last newsletter, you’ll receive the next one! That’s why I’ve included links to archived newsletters below. Click on the image to view them.
